I appreciate your business and value our relationship. Now that we are “friends”, I’m going to take care of you. But as “friends,” I need you to take care of this rod. The truth is no fishing rod is indestructible. I ship each CHARLIE'S CUSTOM ROD in PVC pipe. Please use it when traveling.
If you are going to just throw this rod in the bed of your truck or fly 90MPH with your rods whipping in the boat’s rod holder, this rod may not be for you. Now we can still be friends but I can’t be your rod guy. No harm. No foul. CHARLIE'S CUSTOM RODS are not assembly line rods. I build each CHARLIE'S CUSTOM ROD with high quality rod components and I can’t afford to re-build rods for free. Don't get me wrong, they can handle a a 30" red, just not neglect and abuse.
However, if you can appreciate the quality of materials and work that goes into each CHARLIE'S CUSTOM RODS a “Let’s make medicine.”
Manufacturers defects usually reveal themselves in the first few fishing trips. Most rod breaks result from exceeding the manufacturers line recommendations or from impact nicks in the graphite. Impact nicks are caused from impact with materials harder than the graphite ie;contact with handrails, bouncing off the truck bed, contact with other rods... These rods cannot take the abuse the old school IM-6 rods can.
2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
I will replace any CHARLIE'S CUSTOM ROD found to be defective in materials or workmanship for 2 (two) years from the date of purchase.
Any CHARLIE'S CUSTOM ROD that is damage due to misuse, neglect, exceeding the line rating or normal wear will be repaired or replaced for a nominal fee. You will receive a cost estimate before any action is taken.
All CHARLIE’S CUSTOM RODS requiring warranty service are to be shipped prepaid, insured along with the reciept and $60.00 (handling fee) to CHARLIE’S CUSTOM RODS at the following address:
